So I'm back again!! I've been a little busy, you know a gew like me gotta keep on her toes, aint no sittin daan doin nuffin! I likes to keep myself motivated as well as PAID!
Anyway, I'm here to tell you about a modelling job I did a few weeks back.
I was really excited as it was for a store in SL that has been around for a while, off & back onto the scene, Meshy Bishes ....thanks to Jaimee Benelli, Mavish Demina & Thirza Bastin & a few others...

I was really happy once I turned up & saw what I'd be modelling!
The line is called "City Girl"

Finding decent clothes for guys in SL can be a bit hard. It seems most guys in second life are content to wear the same tshirt and jeans combo they have worn for weeks, its like "yeah that will do" without thinking to ever change it up a bit so designers in SL for guys know that and dont make as many items for guys as they do girls hence the shortage of good quality mesh for guys in SL. Call us lazy but we just seem to end up that way.

Older avatars will remember ETD Hair, It was one of the hair pioneers of SL & rightly so!
Elika Tiramisu did some awesome stuff!!
I've been away from SL for a few years now & sadly some of my favorite creators are no longer making stuff! ....
I really liked the more casual urban day look, I mean... who prances about in mini skirts & high heels 247?? I know i don't! So.... while snooping through my inventory, trying to find an old designer of one of my favorite shops (SC Surf Couture) as i adore her clothing..... I checked her picks tab & found a pick to her main store..... YAY!

A bit of a premature yay, as the main store is no longer there..... but I did find (Elikatira) Which is created by none other than the creator & founder of ETD Hair!! ........YAY!!

So SL is ALL mesh in most of the stores nowadays.... but what about us Avi's who are Classic??
Me personally, I'm a Classic SL Avatar..... I have been on Grid for 8 years and still prefer being classic..... I don't like the "Faffing" that is involved with being a Mesh Avi & 2b honest.... I'm comfortable in my Classic Shape!

That does not mean I don't like to mix things up a little.... I LOVE mesh clothing.... but I want to be able to still wear my favorite SL brands without having to change my whole avatar!

 Having said that, it is easier for me to find stuff as I am Classic.... therefore, I can wear both Mesh and Classic Clothing, unlike you poor Mesh Avi's!! LOL

   

This is where the OMEGA Appliers come in!!

This great little invention lets Mesh Avatars wear Classic SL clothing layers on their mesh Avi!

Which means you can wear your favorite brands, without having to worry if they will bring out a mesh version!! I'ts all ready for you!!

Its a nifty little Hud that you just wear an "apply" the layers you want!
